All my pieces are made from Stoneware clay and have a beautifully soft, cream coloured speckled eggshell interior glaze. The outside are a mix of coloured slips and glazes, and are all sealed with Liquid Quartz . This means they're waterproof and stain resistant, even though they maintain the look and feel of natural clay. 
Because if the 24k gold on their flowers and freckles, I'd suggest hand washing to preserve their appearance for longer. 
To be quite honest they're the perfect guest.
