Perfect spoon rest, trinket dish, egg cradle ( I don't know what to call this use... It's holds your eggs, so they don't roll, and egg shells and gives you an edge to crack them on, all without making a mess.) or cup cake plate! 
All my pieces are made from Stoneware clay and have a beautifully soft, cream coloured speckled eggshell interior glaze. The outside are a mix of coloured slips and glazes, and are all sealed with Liquid Quartz . This means they're waterproof and stain resistant, even though they maintain the look and feel of natural clay. 
If they don't have gold lustre, they can be considered microwave and dishwasher safe but I'd suggest hand washing to preserve their appearance for longer. 
To be quite honest they're the perfect guest.
